We had the famous "hot pot" for the 2nd time - and believe me there will be the 3rd, 4th and many more! Amazing service, delicious food - can't wait to get there asap.
It’s a lovely restaurant owned by a Chinese family. They serve authentic Sichuan and Hunan food like hotpot, stir fry any meats with chill. if you like spicy, do not miss the chance to come in. They also serve lots of non-spicy food from Guangdong Province and other parts of China. Besides that, their localised menu is also good, recommend Mix Hors d’oeuveres, bbq rips, and crispy duck.
We had a great time! The food was so good, authentic and generous! Staffs are also very friendly! Definitely will go back!
Wide variety of options with two menus - one for the typical British Chinese takeaway options and the other with more traditional (and spicy!) Chinese food. Both menus had a good mix of meat, fish and vegetarian options. I tried the traditional Chinese menu and the portions were really generous and excellent value. The clam special was particularly great! Atmosphere was good, restaurant was about half-full when I went on a Friday evening. Seemed to be a family-run business and the staff were both friendly and helpful when ordering.

Absolutely delicious authentic Chinese food. I’ve ordered an egg drop soup with seaweed which was aromatic and full of nutrients, as well as the tripe slices sauteed with coriander, from the new, more authentic menu. That dish was amazing. The tripe was tender, it was cooked with coriander stems which have more flavor and aroma than the leaves and it was very nicely presented. I’m happy I’m spending few days more in Northampton, because for sure I will be back. The service was very polite and the restaurant is conveniently located in the town center, just opposite to the Ibis hotel.
Ordered mainly from the Chef's Specials, had the Xiang Style Steamed Pork 湘味扣肉 & Shanghai Pork Dumpling, all I can say is I've never eaten pork done so well in my life. It is pricey on first glance but WELL worth it. Definitely my fave Chinese to this day.
